We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated electrician to join our team at Irribiz, a division of ICI Industries. As part of the Irribiz team, you will be responsible for the complete support of our pump stations and their control. This includes the design, installation, commissioning, preventative service and technical support for all the services associated with large scale irrigation.

• Direct liaison with our valued customers.
• Creating electrical scope documentation.  
• Reviewing quotes and design drawings to ensure fit for purpose.
• Installing and commissioning electrical and hydraulic equipment.
• Fault finding and repair to component level of the installed electrical and hydraulic equipment.
• Complete administrative tasks on time and in full.
• Be available to travel to remote sites with stayovers on occasion.

ABOUT YOU:

Requirements

• Commitment to quality and safe work practises.
• A qualified electrician with widespread skills and knowledge in electrical design, fault finding and commissioning of industrial automation.
• A valid driver’s licence.
• Tools applicable to the trade.
• Ability to interpret installation drawings both electrical and hydraulic.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a larger team.
• Experience in the use and fault diagnosis of Rockwell, Siemens and schneider PLC systems

Desirable (training will be provided)

• White card
• Forklift licence
• EWP licence
• Office 365 tools/ software
